Shout It From The Rooftop: Whatever It Takes!

AFA LAX Council 12 BBQ brings dozens of Flight Attendants together to rally for our contract negotiations

[08.22.09] -- AFA Los Angeles Council 12 Flight Attendants came together, and met with fellow flying partners in a day full of food, fun, raffles, live performances, and camaraderie. Flight Attendants also met with UAL AFA MEC Vice President Linda Farrow, MEC Negotiations Committee Member Shirley Barber, LAX Local President Darren Shiroma, and LAX Local VP Karrie Forbes to learn more about our negotiations with United Airlines. LAX Negotiations Support/Membership Engagement Chair Scott Umfress and Committee Member Lynn Statham helped build further support for the Flight Attendant Negotiations Network (FANN), and brought awareness to the current status of our Contract Negotiations.
